Artist Bio

Evan Kennedy’s artwork explores the relationship between queer erotica, art history and his own lived experience. His artworks have been exhibited and featured in local galleries, art markets, and publications. He recently had a solo exhibition at the McCarthy Art Gallery at Saint Michael’s College of his senior capstone work entitled Eros II. He was also the recipient of the Saint Michael’s VPAA 2025 Summer Research Grant to continue and deepen his art practice. Kennedy’s work has also been exhibited in group shows at the McCarthy Art Gallery in Colchester VT, as well as The Spiral House Art Collective in Burlington, VT. Additionally, his work has been published in the first edition of Young Poets of New Hampshire. Kennedy graduated with a B.A. from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont, with high honors in 2026, majoring in Art & Design, with a minor in Art History. He currently lives and maintains a studio practice in Essex Jct. Vermont.
